Getting in the pool certainly means something different to everybody. It could refer to a relaxing vacation, a dip in the pool on a hot summer day, or even waking up at 5am for morning practice. What we don’t want is for swimming laps to evoke a terrible feeling for everyone!
Like plenty of other exercises out there, swimming is awesome cardio. What differentiates swimming from the others is that there is completely no-impact on your joints (unless you are trying to kick through the wall on flip turns), it provides great stretching for your entire body, and is a total calorie burning, full-body workout.
